The following are all the reports and fixtures for the past weekend and next weekend in the Inishowen Football League.

The home side took the lead in the 14th minute after Jason Devlin burst past a static Carn defence before slotting low past Daniel McDaid from twelve yards. But the visitors regrouped and equalised after a Cian Burke effort was parried by Kierna Friel only for Cade Cooke to react quickest and fire the loose ball home. Carn then took the lead in the 31st minute when Burke burst clear on the left and squared the ball for the inrushing Roos Farren to stroke the ball low into the corner with the home defence guilty of ball watching. Clonmany upped the tempo before the break and a dangerous Conor Doherty cross was well cleared by the Carn defence.The home side dominated long spells of the second half with substitute Alex McFadden and Aaron Porter both denied by saves from McDaid. Gareth Bradley then played a one two with Porter before crossing for Devlin to chest the ball into the path of Paddy Doherty who fired over from the edge of the area. On 72 minutes McFadden was again thwarted by a good stop from McDaid before the visitors threatened in a rare breakaway. Substitute Kyran Cantwell broek clear of the home defence and squared for Cian Burke whose first time effort cannoned off the head of keeper Friel. Clonmany sustitutes Morgan Murray was denied by McDaid before Matthew Brennan s effort eluded everyone and cannoned back off the post. The pressure told when they equalised in the 80th minute after a Brennan corner was glanced home at the near post by Devlin. The visitors then snatched victory in the last minute after a long ball caused confusion in the home defence and an attempted clearance bounced off a defender and into the net.

Cockhill Celtic 3
As expected Cockhill started this game well and spurned a gilt edged opportunity on 15 minutes after Garbhan Friel was upended in the area with Lee McColgans spot kick brilliantly saved by Johnathan Noone diving to his left. Cockhill then took the lead after a Liam Grant corner was headed by a defender and came off McColgan and into the net. Illies levelled on 35 minutes after Paul and Liam Doherty combined for Paul to fire to the top corner from the edge of the area past Harry Doherty.
Cockhill exerted tremendous pressure on the home defence who stood firm until the 75th minute.James Bradley was allowed to race unchallenged into the area and squared the ball for Friel to fire to the roof of the net from twelve yards. The visitors sealed the points late on after Friel blocked a clearance forcing Noone into a reactionary save but the loose ball fell kindly for Conor Graham to lob into the empty net.
Greencastle FC 6

Aileach began on the front foot with a Reece McGilloway free kick crashing off the bar and a Thomas McMonagle header cleared by DJ Canavan. But the home side took the lead midway through the half when after a superb build up Shaun Doherty turned well inside the area and fired past Oran McCauley. Two minutes later they added another after a Jamie McCormick through ball found Conor Gillen to fire low to the corner. They added a third on 33 minutes when Brennan Moore chased down a back pass and forcing a hurried clearance which was collected by McCormick who unleashed a superb effort to the top corner. Aileach replied before the break when Stephen Harley broke on the right and found Darren Bradley who hit a half volley just over. After a scrappy opening to the second half the home side increased their lead on 63 minutes with a brilliant team goal. Moore fed Nigel McMonagle who released the overlapping Gavin Harkin who crossed to Shea McLaughlin to score with a powerful header. It soon became five nil after Kyle Harkin sent McMonagle away on the left and his cross cannoned off an unfortunate defender to the net. Aileach were denied a consolation after a Gavin Doherty effort produced a stunning save from Jason McCallion in the home goal. Greencastle completed the scoring when substitute Christy Diver released Moore to out pace the defence and slot home. Diver then had the final chance but was denied by a superb save from McCauley.
Glengad United 4

Glengad started the game well with Terence Doherty racing onto a long clearance but denied by a great save from Ryan Coyle. The home side did take the lead in the 12th minute after good interplay from Doherty and Patrick McDermott saw the former feed Darragh Douglas who cut in and fired to the top corner from the edge of the area. Moville responded with a Conor Radcliffe free kick tipped round the post by Zach Conlon before a Lee McColgan free flew just over. Glengad had the last chance of the half when Doherty found Caolan McColgan but he fired narrowly wide. Glengad got a dream start to the second period when Oran Doherty and McDermott combined to release Terence Doherty and he fired low to the bottom corner from the edge of the area. Doherty then made it three nil when he ran onto a Seamus Doherty pass and drilled low past Coyle. It got better for the home side on the hour when substitute Christy McLaughlin combined with McDermott before laying the ball off to Doherty to slot home from ten yards and complete his hat trick. In fairness to the visitors they did not lie down and got a goal back when Michael McCarron ran onto a long ball to advance and slot low under Conlon. Glengad had a good chance immediately to restore their four goal advantage but a Caolan McColgan effort skimmed the far post. An error then in the home defence saw substitute Conor Farren pounce to score from six yards and make it four two. With five minutes remaining Moville got it back to the minimum when McCarron cut inside from the right and hammered a low shot past Conlon to really set up a grandstand finish. But the home defence saw out the remaining time to collect the points.

Greencastle Youths 2
The visitors started much the better with Seamus McLaughlin denied by a good save from Mark Smith in the home goal. But they took the lead then in the 9th minute after Conor Gillen headed home a Shea McLaughlin cross from the right. The home side got back on terms in the 15th minute after Bryan McCandless broke on the left and crossed for Brendan McLaughlin to sidefoot home from ten yards. The home side then had a great chance on 22 minutes after a Michael Coyle fick on found McCandless whose left footed effort was brilliantly saved by the legs of Evan Davenport in the Greencastle goal. Culdaff continued to press and Keith Norris headed just over following an Aidan Cunningham cross before a Cunningham free was well saved by Davenport. Greencastle lifted the pressure with a Karl Harkin free sailing over the bar. Greencastle then took the lead again after a Harkin free was headed to the edge of the area where Seamus McLaughlin volleyed superbly to the top corner giving Smith no chance. The home side had the final chance of the half after great interplay between Michael Doran, Cunningham and Norris ended with Dorans shot tipped over the bar by Davenport. Culdaff started the second half on the front foot and a Jack O Brien corner was headed just wide by Doran in the opening minute. After a collision in the home defence keeper Smith had to be replaced by Patrick McLaughlin. An amazing run by Brendan McLaughlin took him past three defenders but his effort was saved by Davenport. Culdaff launched sustained pressure on the visitors but the closest they came was a Brendan McLaughlin free superbly pushed round the post by Davenport. The visitors were reduced to ten men after CJ Henry collected a second caution but they held on to claim their first points of the season.

The home side had the first chance after 9 minutes when Darragh McDermoot played Kieran McElroy through but Michael McCole saved well. Paul Mullan then fired just wide before McCole saved well from McDermott. McDermott was then denied seeing a close range header cleared off the line before the visitors hit the home side with a double whammy. They broke the deadlock in the 44th minute when Shaun Curran curled a free kick from the edge of the area to the top corner.In injury time they doubled their lead after Stephen Grant made ground on the right and crossed for Aiden Cunningham to fire a sweet half volley to the net. Minutes after the restart then a lee Barr free kick finds Darragh McConway who chips the ball over the advancing keeper. Cockhill rallied and reduced the deficit on 70 minutes after McDermott collected a throw in and unleashed a superb effort past Michael McCole into the top corner. But the visitors sealed it when Alan Clarke fed Jack McConalogue to release Curran and slot low to the corner. Clarke then added a fifth goal in injury time running through the middle and slotting low to the corner.

Carn started the game strongly and after just two minutes Dayton Cooke saw his shot fly over the bar from 20 yards out. Carn took the lead five minutes later when a floated Tiernan Doherty free kick found the head of Ciaran O’Kane. His initial header was blocked down by Clonmany keeper Killian McCarron but O’Kane reacted fast to drill the ball low into the net. It was two nil a few moments later. Some good one touch football between Micheal McDermott and Shay Fallon ended with Dayton Cooke sweeping the ball past McCarron from the edge of the box. Clonmany gathered themselves and got back into the game on 34 minutes. Micheal Devlin’s lobbed pass found the feet of Tiernan McDonald who calmly slotted past Harkin in the Carn goal. They continued to press Carn and were unlucky to see a few corners fly across the six yard box. In the second half Carn got off to the dream start. Dylan Cookes through ball fell to Cormac McLaughlin who slotted the ball into the bottom left hand corner of McCarrons goal. Carn had a few more half chances but Clonmany reserves held out strongly. That was until 15 minutes before the end an Anthony Doherty strike was parried out to Carn man Matthew Smith who toe poked the ball home from close range to make it four one. Clonmany had the last piece of action when a Jack Doherty free kick was blocked by the Carn wall.

The visitors got off to a dream start and were two goals to the good after only five minutes. They opened the scoring when Seamus McFadden broke clear and crossed for Oisin Hillen to drill home past Dylan Porter. Minutes later McFadden turned on the edge of the area and drilled low to the bottom corner. The home side gradually got back into the game and reduced the deficit when Caoalan McKinney released Emmet McCarron and he finished well from inside the area. The home side then got back on level terms two minutes after the restart when Thomas McMonagle released Josh Boyle who fired low to the net. QPS regrouped and regained the lead on the hour mark when a looping Aaron Scott header from the edge of the area found the top corner. On 75 minutes they made it four two after McFaddens cross found John McCloskey to head to the bottom corner from eight yards. Again Aileach rallied and reduced the deficit with a Kevin Boyle corner headed home at the near post by Stephen Doherty. But the visitors had the final chance when Scott broke clear but was denied by the legs of Porter.

The home side got off to a dream start when they opened the scoring after only ninety seconds. Eoin Murphy made an excellent pass to Matthew Brown out wide and he drove a low ball across the face of goal for Adam Doherty to slot home from close range. Dunree came more into the game with Kyle Barrett and Cian Moran dominant in midfield without troubling the home defence as the half ended. The second half was an equally tight competitive affair . On 56 minutes a Cillian Downey corner produced a frantic scramble in the Dunree area before Adam Doherty laid the ball back to Murphy to drill through a crowd of players into the net. Dunree pushed hard for the remainder of the game but the home defence superbly marshalled by Seannan and Colin Murphy stood firm to collect the points.
Inishowen Engineering Division Two

In the early exchanges Luke McFadden for the home side had an effort saved by Fergal Diver while at the other end Ryan Doherty was denied by Stephen Teles in the Moville goal. The visitors opened the scoring midway through the half after Ryan Doherty advanced from midfield and fired low to the corner from the edge of the area. Moville replied and following a scramble in the area Diver somehow pushed a Shane Canning close range effort around the post. Rashenny doubled their lead before the break when the unmarked James McConalogue headed home. They added a third in the opening minute of the second period when Caylum Long turned a defender and drilled low to the corner.It became four nil on the hour mark after Gareth McKeever raced onto a through ball to finish well past Teles. The game was over as a contest at this stage and Long went on to add three goals before John Grant ended the scoring with a fine long rage effort.
Sea Rovers 2
Gleneely Colts 3
Rovers made the breakthrough on 10 minutes when a ball from Conor Kelly in midfield found Conor Mc Closkey who took it well from the edge of the box and put it in the top left hand corner . A good ball then from Daniel Gallagher saw Conor Mc Closkey beat the Gleneely defence and an effort to lob the Gleneely keeper Jordan Mc Laughlin was well saved. Rovers had another chance after an effort from Andrew Gallagher saw his shot saved by Mc Laughlin. Rovers kept a good bit of pressure going and a ball from Mc Closkey to Declan Mc Gonagle saw his shot well saved with the rebound coming out to Andrew Gallagher who tapped it in from close range . On the half hour mark Gleneely got one back when Dylan McDaid saw his shot go beyond the Rovers keeper Mark Mc Laughlin to leave the home side leading at the break. There were very few chances for both sides in the second half with the first chance falling for Gleneely forward Mark McGonagle whose shot went just wide. Gleneely got a bit of luck when a loose ball in the Rovers area bounced into the net to get them back on terms on 72 minutes. Gleneely then got a free kick on the edge of the box hit by Tristan Mc Colgan which was well saved by Mc Laughlin but the ball fell to Cory O Brien who tapped in to give the visitors the points.

In a scoreless opening half there were chances at both ends. For the home side both Aaron Doherty and Gareth McGlynn had efforts saved by Stephen Slattery in the visitors goal. For the Point Simon Wallace had a shot saved by Dylan Clarke before Dean Hegarty headed over from a corner. After a slow start to the second half Aileach had the first chance on the hour with Aaron Doherty again denied by a good save from Slattery. They did break the deadlock on 71 minutes when the unmarked Doherty headed home a McGlynn cross from eight yards. The visitors tried to reply and Tony McConalogue saw an effort saved by Clarke. But the home side sealed the points on 88 minutes after a Ryan Wilson cross was poked home from close range by Doherty.

After a brisk opening the home side took the lead on 15 minutes when Ronan Dohertys deep cross found Cathal Crumlish to head past Conor Doherty from six yards. Midway through the half a defensive error was seized on by Kealan Whoriskey who drilled low past Ciaran Bonner from the edge of the area. But the home side regained the lead ten minutes later after Ronan Doherty was upended in the area and Ryan McDermott fired the spot kick low to the corner. Carrowmena had another chance when Doherty crossed for Adam Harkin whose first time effort went just wide. Illies had the final chance of the half with Oran Doherty s snapshot well saved by Bonner. The home side increased their lead on the hour mark when Doherty was tripped in the area and McDermott stepped up for the second time to convert from the spot. Illies again reduced the deficit on 77 minutes with Liam O Conor playing a one two with Shane Devlin before squaring for Oran Doherty to drill low past Bonner from twelve yards. In a goalmouth scramble Michael Grant fired over from point blank range and the home side claimed the points.

After an even opening fifteen minutes when both sides had chances it was the experienced Colts who took the lead with a Gerry Gill corner finding Martin Donaghey to fire a half volley past Darragh O Donnell from ten yards. Gill then added a second when he cut in from the right and curled a superb left footed effort to the top corner from sixteen yards. The RESERVES tried to respond with Joe Lavery curling a fine effort just past the post. But two quick goals from Donaghy to complete his hat trick ended the game as a contest. Firstly he got on the end of another Gill corner to volley home before he converted a penalty after Karl Kelly was upended. In fairness to the reserves they never gave up and had the better of the second half with both Niall Breslin and James Porter seeing efforts crash off the post. But the Colts completed the scoring late on after substitute Shane Meehan crossed fro Gill to head home.
Rashenny ROVERS 1

Play was even in the opening half an hour with the visitors Niall Mclaughlins long range effort saved by Roger McGilloway before the same player cushioned a header into the path of Niall Gordon but McGilloway gathered his dipping effort at the second attempt. At the other end a Leo Devlin cross was headed over the bar by Leonardo McGlinchey before a Shea Grant effort was deflected away from goal. ROVERS broke the deadlock in the 35th minute when a Tyler McEleney cross from the right was bundled home by McGlinchey. Culdaff tried to hit back before the break and Michael McCarron laid the ball off to Gordon who fired just past the angle of post and bar. The visitors upped the tempo and equalised within minutes of the restart after Jack Mills flicked on a corner for Peter Doherty to head home. Five minutes later Culdaff took the lead with Noel McLaughlin firing a superb twenty five yards effort to the top corner. Rovers tried to respond with a McGlinchey header saved by Odhran Douglas before the same player unleashed a dipping twenty yards effort which drifted just wide. Culdaff increased their lead on 72 minutes after a Darragh McCormick cross found the unmarked Sean McGrenaghan who controlled before slotting low to the corner from twelve yards. McGrenaghan then had another effort well saved by McGilloway before McCormick evaded a tackle on the left and crossed for Noel McLaughlin to slot home his second of the game. Culdaff had the final chance also with Gordon breaking clear but denied by a fine save from McGilloway.
